About ThePlayOT

ThePlayOT was founded as a way to provide resources and information to families and professionals about a variety of topics, including sensory processing, feeding skills, and of course, play and developmental skills. Through her clinical work in early intervention, Lauren Teague, OTD, OTR/L realized that harnessing a child's innate love for play as a foundation can change a child's (and family's!) life.

ThePlayOT's goal is to share specific and supportive strategies for caregivers to feel empowered to increase the amount and quality of play in their child's life.
